Welcome to the Online College Counseling Center! Here you will find information regarding timing for college applications and information on how to choose a college/university. We aim to facilitate the entry of all students into their desired post-secondary college/university and to help them get a great start on their new life outside of SCCS.

SCCS College Counselor works closely with SCCS secondary students and their parents offering individual consultation regarding university applications. To talk about your college plans, call 353-0808 ext. 119 to make an appointment.

Tech de Monterrey: A representative from Tech de Monterrey will be on campus March 1st and will be visiting the 11th grade students during flex class.
SAT Prep Courses: The SAT prep courses will occur on the following dates and times: February 27th; March 6th; March 13th; March 20th; April 17th. Math courses will be from 9a.m. to 11a.m. and Critical Reading/Writing from 11:15a.m. to 1:15p.m. 
11th Grade Students & SAT exam: Students in 11th grade should prepare to take the SAT exam in either May or June of 2010. This will help you get a great start to the admission process the following year. The next exam will be on May 1st, and you must register on www.collegeboard.com by March 25th. 
12th Grade Parents & Students: 12th grade students should have all or at least almost all of their applications sent in for U.S. colleges and universities and Acceptance letters will start to arrive soon! Please see Mr. Vande Loo with any questions about acceptances, scholarships, etc….
11th Grade Parents & Students: It’s a perfect time to start your college planning! 11th grade students are highly encouraged to meet with Mr. Vande Loo to start developing ideas about careers and looking for colleges and universities to attend. Additionally, parents should set up a meeting with Mr. Vande Loo to discuss their child’s future. Start today!
