Student Organizations
Hands Helping Hands is an umbrella organization that includes Habitat for Humanity and Operation Smile. The organization is comprised of approximately 30 students who raise funds, participate in building-up surrounding areas, and translate for doctors who donate their time to Operation Smile.

Band & Choir
at SCCS is for students with musical interests who would like to develop their musical skills and knowledge. Students at any educational level can enjoy musical expression and learn how to perform as a part of a group in front of an audience. Primary students may perform in the Jaguar Showcase, a monthly elementary event, while secondary students perform at assemblies, Christmas concerts, and participate in various other festivals in Santa Cruz.

Student Government
provides an opportunity for SCCS students to work with and amongst their piers, developing leadership and social skills. Students lead and promote many school sponsored events throughout the year including Break the ICE and Sports Day.

The National Honor Society (NHS)
and the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) are organizations dedicated to encouraging citizenship. Students develop leadership skills and learn how to work with a team while providing services to the community such as working in food lines, visiting orphanages and the elderly, and conducting in-school fundraisers for community service or donations.
